Why Thai Tobacco Industry do not close?
Thailand Tobacco Monopoly do not produce illegal drug. Although the industry close itself, smokers who are still smoking would like to buy tobacco from outside the country. Therefore, not only the government losses income from selling tobacco, but also the country will get more expense for buying imported tobacco. The appropriate way to cope this problem is the smoke-free environment campaign and help smokers to quit. The Tobacco Monopoly would close itself when it could not gain any profit from selling tobacco.
